A new version (v1.1) of Death? Preposterous! is now available.
A new update to Death? Preposterous! is now available. Version 1.1 is a minor update to fix a few bugs and add a small amount of quality-of-life improvements to the game.
Here is a list of what has been changed for this release:
v1.1 Change Log: (June 2020)
- Removed outdated website hyperlinks from the title and credits screens.
- Fixed some issues with Jack's request not resolving properly and potentially blocking one method of accessing the mansion, which would occur when the player went to the afterlife area while the request was still in progress.
- Modified the game's introduction sequence slightly to reduce it to a single path forward instead of two routes, and to better highlight the ship at the docks.
- Created the Changelog.txt file and updated the Help & FAQs file included in the game download with more current information.
I would consider upgrading to v1.1 of the game to be non-essential, so download the new version if you'd like to have the few bug fixes and quality of life improvements mentioned above, or if you haven't downloaded the game before, but otherwise you don't have to re-download it if you're happy with the original v1 release.
